Cincy Images is a photo resource capturing the beauty and grit of the fine city of Cincinnati. I moved to Cincinnati and started this website in 2003 as my passion for Cincinnati and photography continued to grow. Over the years this site has evolved into something larger than what I initially imagined. When the website was overhauled in early 2006, I needed to make a decision on whether to dump my photo hosting gallery on pbase.com and integrate the photos into the current site or have them coexist separately. While integrating the photo gallery would have provided a more polished and professional website, I felt the user experience would have been sacrificed so I decided to keep them separate and do my best to tie the two sites as closely together as I could. I still feel that the ease of use of pbase.com provides the end user with the best photo browsing experience on the web. Over the past year I have pruned many of the photo galleries as my photography and equipment have improved. I have also removed many third party images that once filled numerous galleries and placed all remaining third part content in a gallery called, “Third Party Content”. Other than this gallery, I have personally taken all the photos on Cincy Images. The reason I choose to store third party content is to provide a web resource of Cincinnati, Ohio and regional related items that can be easily accessible for research or personal use by the internet community. In no way do we intend to make a profit on someone else's work. The intentions of this site are to promote Cincinnati first and foremost. All images that are owned by Cincy Images are available for purchase. If you are interested in purchasing one of the photos on Cincy Images, please contact the site and include the desired use of the photos in question when inquiring. I will gladly reply back with a price quote. Once you purchase a license for a photo, you will retain the rights to that photo for an unlimited amount of time.
