Today I took my family to the UC-NC State game. My daughter is a big UC fan and she had never been to a UC Basketball game before. Since I will be leaving for Germany in a week, I wanted to take her to a game before my schedule got crazy. The game started off slow with less than exciting basketball but when the second half started, it seemed like we were watching a whole different team with freshman Deonta Vaughn scoring 25 points in the game. I would love for this team to prove the skeptics wrong and break into the Top 25. While the game was great my photos did turn out as well so most of this gallery ended up being photos of the cheerleaders and dance team. You can the photos here.
After the game we walked around Clifton Heights and had a late lunch at Lenhardt’s Restaurant. I have always enjoyed the urban fabric of and grit of this neighborhood and should have photographed it a long time ago. While I am not a fan of the gloom that filled the sky today, it seemed to compliment the neighborhood well. Right before completion of my neighborhood set I was greeted by four Cincinnati Bearcat ballplayers who I convinced to pose for me. Thanks guys for the photograph. You can see their photo and the rest of the Clifton Heights set here .
